As if the news of two Star Wars Lands wasn’t enough today, Disney Parks had more to unveil at their own panel at the D23 Expo this afternoon.

While Star Wars Land may still be several years away from opening, Disneyland’s Space Mountain will be receiving a seasonal Star Wars overlay similar to what they’ve done when re-theming it for Halloween. The ride, titled “Hyperspace Mountain,” opens in early 2016. “Guests will join an X-wing Starfighter battle” according to Disney. Some promotional art is below:

Note: This isn’t a permanent replacement — this is a temporary re-themeing that will be done yearly.

Space Mountain at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will not receive the Hyperspace Mountain overlay, but guests at Hollywood Studios will get to enjoy a Star Wars firework celebration on select nights.

In addition, both Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida and Disneyland in California will host a new area called “Star Wars Launch Bay” which will have previews of The Force Awakens. We bet at some point this area will include previews of the new Star Wars Land and other upcoming Star Wars films:

Speaking of Hollywood Studios, Disney also announced today that a Toy Story Land is coming to the park. It will include the following attractions, according to the Disney Parks Blog:

  1. “Family-friendly roller coaster – This coaster will zip and zoom, plunge and coast as it takes guests on a thrilling, toy-filled adventure throughout the new land on the back of Slinky Dog.”
  2. “Alien saucers attraction – The famous little green aliens from the movie will take guests around for a spin in their very own flying saucers.”
  3. “Toy Story Mania! – Guests glide into the Toy Story Midway Games Play Set and take aim at 3D objects in a variety of fast-paced games, with an expansion that adds an additional track to this popular attraction.”

No exact opening dates were shared for any attraction today, but you can learn a lot more about all of Disney’s park announcements over on their blog.
