Disney used Thanksgiving to remind us why we’re thankful for them.

The first trailer for the reimagined Lion King debuted Thursday afternoon and shows off the high-tech CGI that is being used to re-tell the iconic Disney story.

The trailer gives you a sense of how the animals are being brought to life. It also shows off the film’s cast: Donald Glover (Simba), Beyonce (Nala), James Earl Jones (Mufasa), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Scar), Alfre Woodard (Sarabi), John Oliver (Zazu), John Kani (Rafiki), Seth Rogen (Pumbaa), Billy Eichner (Timon), Eric Andre (Azizi), Florence Kasumba (Shenzi), and Keegan-Michael Key (Kamari).

A poster for the film was also released today, and depicts the adorable Simba stepping into his father’s paw print:

The new Lion King will be released July 2019. The movie is directed by Jon Faverau, who helmed the reimagined Jungle Book.
