Disney has released the first teaser for their live-action Jungle Book movie and while short, it shows Mowgli living in a dark, mysterious jungle.

Disney’s live-action Jungle Book movie has some amazing actors involved, and the first footage released on Vine shows us an incredibly quick shot of the film’s star Mowgli, played by Neel Sethi, sitting in a dimly lit tree in the jungle. Watch the film’s first footage below:

Disney continues creating live-action adaptations of their classic films, and The Jungle Book looks like it could be an exciting look at the story we grew up watching in the animated version released back in 1967.

Iron Man director Jon Favreau is directing Disney’s live-action Jungle Book movie, which stars some incredible actors, including Ben Kingsley (Bagheera), Lupita Nyong’o (Raksha), and Neel Sethi (Mowgli). Sethi looks like he’ll do Mowgli justice in the first footage, and we look forward to seeing more footage from the film as production continues.

When Hypable was at Disney’s D23 Expo back in August, the first trailer for The Jungle Book premiered at the event. In it, Bill Murray hummed “The Bear Necessities” as Baloo. The CGI looked extremely realistic, and while the quality of this footage isn’t great, we expect some breathtaking scenes from director Jon Favreau.

The film’s official trailer will premiere on Monday, September 14. The Jungle Book’s release date has been set for April 15, 2016 and will also feature the voices of Scarlett Johansson (Kaa), Christopher Walken (King Louie), Idris Elba (Shere Khan), and Giancarlo Esposito (Akela).

The Jungle Book’s official synopsis reads, “Directed by Jon Favreau (“Iron Man”), based on Rudyard Kipling’s timeless stories and inspired by Disney’s classic animated film, “The Jungle Book” is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat.”
