The first trailer for Disney’s next animated movie Frozen has been released!

Frozen’s trailer doesn’t appear to offer glimpses into the storyline but appears to hint at the humor we can expect to find in the movie.

In the Frozen trailer, we see reindeer Sven and snowman Olaf compete for a carrot while grasping for control on an icy lake. The end of the tease has a couple of cute surprises, but it reminded us of the trailer for Ice Age: Continental Drift in which the squirrel is trying to protect his nut.

Although they don’t appear in this trailer, Frozen has an all-star cast including Kristen Bell voicing “fearless optimist” Anna, Jonathan Groff portraying “mountain man” Kristoff, and Idina Menzel who’s voicing Anna’s sister Elsa. Presumably the next trailer will include glimpses into the story. For now, this Frozen trailer is all about giving kids a heads up to look forward to some new cartoons on the big screen later this year.

In Frozen, Anna and Kristoff head out to find Elsa because her “icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter,” says the official synopsis. “Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.”

Bell, Groff, and Menzel also posses great vocal power, so expect a couple of songs within Frozen too.

Frozen opens in theaters November 27, 2013. You can see the teaser trailer above in theaters this Friday with Disney’s Monsters University.
