Following the highly anticipated premiere of Descendants 3, the Disney Channel aired a touching tribute to Cameron Boyce that’s sure to tug at your heartstrings.

The Disney Channel lost one of its brightest stars just last month, which brought news of the passing of actor Cameron Boyce.

Boyce, who was 20 when he died from an epileptic seizure in July, was undoubtedly a familiar face for viewers of the cable network, having starred in hit originals like Jessie, Liv and Maddie, Bunk’d and more.

Though a mainstay on the network’s original series, Boyce is undoubtedly best known for his work on the Disney Channel’s hit original movies franchise, Descendants where he plays Carlos — the son of the villainous Cruella de Vil.

It’s Descendants 3 which will actually serve as the young actor’s last on-camera performance. Though fans have known for quite some time that the studio, cast, and crew would use the premiere of the movie musical to pay tribute to Boyce.

That being said, it’s likely they didn’t expect the touching video titled “For Cameron” that aired shortly after the DCOM wrapped.
