The Glee Project season 2 is in full swing and Hypable has just received a tip from somebody who was able to watch the filming of one of the numbers! We have some details about the cast, who’s on set, and music you’ll be hearing once the second season launches!

Last last night, Hypable received some details from a reputable source who was working nearby.

First, the source says that there were definitely 14 people dancing, singing and being filmed yesterday at Universal City Walk, the entertainment and retail district that sits adjacent to the Universal Parks & Resorts in Los Angeles, California. Though the source counted 14 contestants, it doesn’t necessarily mean that none have been eliminated yet. In the season finale of season 1 they invited all the contestants back so to disguise the public from leaking who may or may not have won.

The source is also saying that there was a plot revolving around one of the girls working as a waitress at Jody Maroni’s, one of the restaurants at Universal City Walk. There was apparently also a costume change, with the source saying: “they all ended up in matching white t/jeans/converse.”

Secondly, we can confirm from the source that the contestants were dancing and singing along to Jessie J’s song “Price Tag.” The source specifically said “I have heard Jessie J’s ‘Price Tag’ a hundred times today.”

As for the contestants, our source was able to describe a few based solely on their looks and ethnicities. Our source is saying that of the 14 people “there was 1 Asian man, 2 overweight caucasian girls, a girl in a wheelchair, and a blind African-American man.” The source also describes each contestant as appearing to be in the mid-twenties.

We asked the source if he had any opinion on the singing or dancing talent involved, to which the source replied: “Weak, to say the least. I didn’t hear ALL of them individually, but the main girl, black guy, asian dude, and tall white guy were NOT great. Good but not tv worthy.”

When we showed our source a picture of Zach Woodlee, (Glee and Glee Project choreographer) to see if he spotted him on set, our source’s reply was: “Yes.”

We’re still a very long time away before we see any of The Glee Project season 2, so we will have to wait and see if any of these rumors are true!
