A fun Halloween-themed trailer for Despicable Me 2 has hit the web!

Universal Studios and Illumination entertainment released a new trailer for Despicable Me 2 today. Hitting theaters on July 3, 2013, Despicable Me 2 will feature the return of Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, and Russell Brand, and is bringing on three actors to voice three new characters: Al Pacino, Steve Coogan and Ken Jeong.

In March, Universal Studios released the first teaser trailer for the sequel. Also, earlier this year, they announced that there will be a spin-off solely about the beloved and unpredictable minions.

Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud are returning as the directors for the sequel. Renaud also directed The Lorax, while Coffin voices some of the minions. Chris Meledandri, CEO of Illumination Entertainment, is producing Despicable Me 2.

Carrell, voicing the part of the main character, Gru, has most recently been seen in Hope Springs and Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, and will be seen next year in
The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. Wiig, voicing the evil orphanage owner Miss Hattie, recently appeared in Friends With Kids and the comedy Revenge for Jolly.
