Remember when Warner Brothers cancelled their plans to release Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 in theaters in 3D? They said they weren’t satisfied with the final product but promised a release down the road.

It’s now ready to be seen in 3D, but at least for the time being you won’t be seeing it in theaters.

Best Buy has announced that they’ll be the only place to purchase Deathly Hallows Parts 1 AND 2 in 3D next month:

Beginning today, fans can pre-order their 3D copy of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 & 2, both in-store or on BestBuy.com. The combo packs, sold separately for $29.99 each, will officially hit Best Buy store shelves on November 11, in time for the holiday gift giving season.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 & 2 in 3D will each include:

· 3D Blu-ray disc

· Standard DVD

· Standard Blu-ray disc

· Code for digital copy

The combo packs will be available both online at BestBuy.com and at Best Buy stores across the country

Will you purchase a 3D version of the Deathly Hallows films? We’re not fans of the 3D format for home viewing purposes. All versions of Deathly Hallows – Part 2 go on sale November 11th in the United States, and a complete list of dates can be seen here.
