New Deadpool images feature some HD looks at Ryan Reynolds unmasked, as the R-rated comic book movie continues its excellent promotion.
Many were concerned about Deadpool staying R-rated, so the film’s producer Simon Kinberg said, “Deadpool is a hard R. It’s graphic. Nothing is taboo. You either commit to a truly outrageous boundary-pushing kind of movie or you don’t.”
It’s exciting that we’re going to see an R-rated comic book movie, as it’ll be a nice change of pace. Check out the latest images of Deadpool below:
Deadpool’s trailer at Comic-Con was highly praised, and we have a feeling it is going to be a smashing box office success, despite its hard R-rating. The comic character is entirely different than anything the average moviegoer has seen in a superhero/villain film, and they’re going to be blown away with just how unique the character is on the big screen.
Production is underway on Deadpool, and Ryan Reynolds will most likely continue keeping fans up-to-date with the on-set hilarity. We’re excited to see more images from the film, and although we’ve seen the highly-praised Comic-Con trailer, these images continue one of the most eventful film promotions we’ve seen in a very long time.
Morena Baccarin is seen in one of the images above and will play one of the female leads in the film. Fans may know her most recently from her role in Showtime’s hit series Homeland.
