Just in time for Deadpool’s Blu-ray release, Screen Junkies has released their Deadpool Honest Trailer. This is a special one, because Ryan Reynolds co-stars in it as the Merc with the Mouth!

We’ve all come to love the Honest Trailers for their too-real takes on every major Hollywood movie, but never has one of the parodies directly involved one of the film’s stars. Leave it to this movie character to be the first one to do it.

Yes, the real Ryan Reynolds guest hosts the Deadpool Honest Trailer, as he admits, to promote this week’s Blu-ray release. Our beloved hero goes back and forth with the usual Honest Trailers host in a five and a half minute parody that makes fun of the runaway hit, Honest Trailers, censoring curse words, and even the Fine Brothers:

After the film opened in theaters in February, moviegoers who were tickled senseless by the merc’s humor were left yearning for a sequel. Luckily Deadpool confirmed a follow-up would happen in the after credits scene, but despite the movie pulling in a huge box office (as he brags about in the above Honest Trailer), Fox has yet to announce a release date for Deadpool 2 co-starring Cable. Typically studios are pretty quick to set dates for big sequels — take Jurassic World 2, for example.

Until the sequel arrives, we’ll have the first movie to enjoy in the comfort of our own home. Deadpool’s Blu-ray special features include deleted/extended scenes (with optional audio commentary from director Tim Miller), an audio commentary with Ryan Reynolds and writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, another commentary with Tim Miller and co-creator Rob Liefeld, a gag reel, a featurette called “From Comics to Screen… to Screen,” and something called “Deadpool’s Fun Sack.” Order the Blu-ray now!

Speaking of the Blu-ray, here’s a new promotional video for the home release titled “Deadpole,” which is a twist on Viagra:
