Now that the cast of Deadpool 2 has been confirmed, Fox has officially set the release date for the film.
Excellent news for Deadpool fans, as production is set to start this summer as the release date has been set for June 1, 2018 according to Variety.
Ryan Reynolds will be starring as the merc with a mouth, while Josh Brolin has signed up to star opposite him as Cable. Zazie Beetz is also joining the cast to play Domino.
Deadpool 2 will be directed by David Leitch, written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick , and produced by Ryan Reynolds.
The original film was a box office hit, earning over $783 million worldwide, and Fox is definitely looking for repeat earnings. Let’s hope the second film is just as fun as the first!
