Three Harry Potter stars will be voicing characters in a film version of the classic UK television show Postman Pan!

Digital Spy reports that David Tennant (who played Barty Crouch Jr.), Rupert Grint (Ron), and Jim Broadbent (Slughorn) will all have roles:

Postman Pat made its debut on BBC One in 1981 and the announcement was made to mark the character’s 30th anniversary.

Harry Potter star Grint added: “I used to watch Postman Pat when I was a small boy. My brother and sisters all did at some stage.

“Postman Pat is one of those British symbols, I suppose. You are totally familiar with him and his cat Jess, even if you have never watched the series.”

Academy Award winner Broadbent said that he was “excited” about working with “such an iconic figure”.

Postman Pat will hit theaters in 2013!
