David Schwimmer, former star of Friends and current star of American Crime Story, couldn’t pivot his way out of a late-night rap battle with James Corden and Rebel Wilson.

James Corden’s Late Late Show is responsible for some of the funniest celebrity encounters, with couch conversations, Carpool Karaoke, and now “Drop the Mic” rap battles.

Thursday night’s show featured David Schwimmer (promoting American Crime Story) and Rebel Wilson, who both took to the stage to slam James Corden — and Schwimmer took some hits as well:

Corden and Schwimmer’s digs at each other, and the many Ross-related jokes Schwimmer suffered, were too real, and we appreciate Schwimmer being a good sport about all this!

But without a doubt, Rebel Wilson emerged victorious with her pitch perfect performance — but to be fair, she had no resistance from her stunned contenders.

If you want more Drop the Mic, it’s definitely worth checking out Corden’s rap battle with Anne Hathaway:

Hathaway totally broke the Internet with her unbelievable performance — who knew she could bring it like that?! Even with Schwimmer and Wilson giving it their all, we don’t see how anything is ever going to top Anne Hathaway’s truly earned micdrop moment.

Last night, David Schwimmer and Rebel Wilson also sat down to talk with Corden and exchange funny stories, and Schwimmer had one particularly memorable anecdote to share:

Talk about your meet-cute: Friends star David Schwimmer had a run-in with fellow celeb Glenn Close on the Great Wall of China, of all places.
