Speaking at the Harry Potter Studio Tours press junket, David Heyman assured our reporter that there has been no talk of a Potter remake.

With the recent remake craze in Hollywood (most notably Spider-Man, remade only 10 years after the Sam Raimi films) and the Potter film franchise being over, fans have been speculating how long it will take before another studio picks up the torch and tries their hands at adapting the book series.

But producer David Heyman insists that there have been no talks of a remake. Speaking to Hypable earlier today, Heyman said that even though Potter may eventually be surpassed as the no.1 box office record holder by another long-running franchise like James Bond,

Something might happen in 20 years’ time, but [so far] there’s been no discussion. Who knows.

Does this reassure you, Harry Potter fans? Or are you waiting for an adaptation which takes all the books into account from the very beginning?
