This Sunday, Darren Criss will be appearing as a guest star on The Cleveland Show, portraying a church-choir teenager. The StarKid and Glee star, will, naturally, be singing in the episode, alongside fellow guest star Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas. You can watch two performances from the episode below, as well as an interview with Darren about the role.

Darren’s character, Hunter, will have a rivalry with Cleveland Jr over Vanessa, played by Fergie. Darren mentioned recently in an interview with EW that he’d specially requested that his animated form have his former trademark wild curly hair, as, due to Glee, he won’t be able to grow it back any time soon.

The Cleveland Show is not Darren’s debut as a voice-over artist – he lent his talents to an episode of FX’s Archer that aired last year, and played the lead role in the Funny Or Die web-series Life Of Leopold.

What did you think of these preview clips – will you be watching the whole episode? What do you think of Darren’s skills as a voice actor?
