Warner Bros.’ The Dark Knight Rises is unsurprisingly on its way to the record books, and early estimates have the film closing in on one of the top midnight box office spots.
UPDATE: WB has announced that the film made $30.64 million at the midnight box office. The film surpassed Breaking Dawn – Part 1‘s $30.3 million. Both films are nowhere near Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, which made $43.5 million.
