Daniel Radcliffe will soon be sharing the big screen with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum.

According to Deadline, Daniel Radcliffe has officially signed on to join the cast of Paramount’s upcoming action romcom, The Lost City of D.

The forthcoming romcom centers on a romance novelist who is something of a recluse. Unfortunately for her, a series of unfortunate events find the novelist trapped on a book tour with no one but her cover model for company. Things take a drastic turn for the worse when an attempted kidnapping suddenly finds the pair caught up in an unexpected jungle adventure.

For his part, the Harry Potter vet is set to play the movie’s main villain. Unfortunately, no further specifics with regards to Radcliffe’s role have been made available as of yet.

Daniel Radcliffe joins previously announced co-stars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, both of whom were cast late last year. They’ll be leading the cast of The Lost City of D, taking on the roles of the romance novelist and book cover model, respectively.

Behind the camera, the film features a script written by Dana Fox, whose previous credits include the recent romcoms, How To Be Single and Isn’t It Romantic.
Meanwhile, Adam and Aaron Nee will be teaming up to direct.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect to see The Lost City of D debut on the big screen.

Fans of Daniel Radcliffe can catch him currently starring opposite Steve Buscemi in the TBS comedy, Miracle Workers.
