Not to be outdone by Chris Hemsworth in Ghostbusters, Daniel Radcliffe recently took on the arduous and demanding tasks of a receptionist.

Acting is hard, we’re sure; fame is all-consuming and exhausting, for all its perks.

But try being a receptionist for a day — without being a famous novelty, even — and you’ll probably begin to wish you at least had a multi-billion dollar mansion to retreat to on weekends.

Daniel Radcliffe recently tried his hand at the gig, and was as kind and self-effacing as we’ve come to expect from the Harry Potter alum.

Visiting Nylon Magazine, Radcliffe took part in a prank played on the employees, and the result is the hilarious video below:

“I’m like a cut price, much less efficient version of [usual receptionist] Lauren,” Radcliffe tells one staff member who notices him behind the desk. (Many don’t see him at all.)

“It’s already proving to be the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” he admits.

Radcliffe is understandably overwhelmed by the various tasks, and ends the video confessing, “I’m very new and very sh**,” when he meets a surprise visitor.

We wouldn’t worry if we were Dan, though: he’s definitely proved his work ethic and unwavering talent, practically holding down a full-time, insanely demanding job since age 11.
