Daniel Radcliffe is talking about his performance in a gay love scene in the upcoming movie Kill Your Darlings.

Appearing on The Graham Norton Show, Daniel Radcliffe, who will portray Allen Ginsburg in Kill Your Darlings, talks about filming the gay sex scene and the notes he got from director John Krokida.

“My favorite note I have ever got was when we were kissing and John just goes, ‘Kiss him! No, not like that. Crazy f***king sex kissing!’

Ten years in a kid’s franchise, to then get that note…was uh, yeah, definitely a moment of like, ‘Oh yeah, I guess I’m moving on.'”

It sounds like this movie is going to be pretty different from what we’ve seen Daniel Radcliffe do in the past.

The movie is about a murder in 1944 that draws together the great poets of the beat generation: Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs. Kill Your Darlings premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival this year to very positive reviews.

Daniel Radcliffe is keeping himself busy as he is also set to star in Tokyo Vice as an American reporter, where he will once again take on a role vastly different from his personal self.

Are you excited to see Daniel Radcliffe portray Allen Ginsberg in the movie Kill Your Darlings? The film stars Radcliffe, Elizabeth Olsen, Michael C. Hall and Dane DeHaan.
