With Spectre only days away, Daniel Craig is blasting the James Bond character in interviews. It’s amazing.

The new James Bond flick Spectre hits U.K. cinemas on October 26, following in the U.S. on November 6.

Daniel Craig reprises his role as 007 for the fourth time, and many fans are hoping he’ll return for one last spin in the Aston Martin before he’s swapped out for a new model.

Unfortunately, Daniel Craig himself is 100% done with James Bond, and isn’t doing a damn thing to hide his dislike of the character.

“Let’s not talk these films up as some kind of life-changing experience. Bond is what Bond does,” says Craig during an interview with Red Bulletin.

When asked what we could learn from James Bond, Craig’s simple response is, “Nothing.”

And he’s not exactly a fan of Bond’s womanizing ways, either. “Let’s not forget, he’s a misogynist,” he says bluntly. “A lot of women are drawn to him chiefly because he embodies a certain kind of danger and never sticks around for too long.”

Craig attributes Bond’s character growth over the past few films to the female characters around him. “We’ve surrounded him with very strong women who have no problem putting him in his place,” he acknowledges.

Finally, we get a little jab at Hollywood’s pervasive ageism: The interviewer calls Monica Bellucci’s character an “older woman,” to which Craig responds, “I think you mean the charms of a woman his own age. We’re talking about Monica Bellucci, for heaven’s sake. When someone like that wants to be a Bond girl, you just count yourself lucky!”

Don’t start placing bets on the next James Bond actor yet, however, as Daniel Craig still hasn’t decided if he wants to stick around for one last adventure.

“I still don’t know,” he says, when asked whether or not he’s ready to pass on the baton. This is certainly a less extreme response than the one he gave Time Out earlier this month, when he said he’d, “rather break this glass and slash my wrists” than sign on for another movie.

In a separate interview with The BBC, he admitted that his enthusiasm (or, in this case, the exact opposite) for the franchise varies from day to day. “I’m quite straightforward and I say things when I feel it and then I change my mind. I’m just like everybody else … This is what’s going on at the moment. I’m enjoying this.”

If he does bow out, it seems like Damien Lewis is the current 007 favorite, with Idris Elba and Michael Fassbender close behind.

In the Time Out interview, Craig himself said he doesn’t “give a f**k” who replaces him. “Good luck to them.”
