This morning on Good Morning America, Dancing With The Stars 2013 season 17 cast was unveiled.
The list of Dancing With The Stars 2013 cast dancers follows:
– Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi (Jersey Shore)
– Keyshawn Johnson (NFL vet)
– Valerie Harper (The Mary Tyler Moore Show)
– Brant Daugherty (Pretty Little Liars)
– Christina Milian (The Voice’s social media correspondent)
– Bill Nye (Bill Nye the Science Guy)
– Elizabeth Berkley (Saved by the Bell)
– Corbin Bleu (High School Musical)
– Amber Riley (Glee)
– Bill Engvall (stand-up comedian)
– Jack Osbourne (Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s son)
– Leah Remini (King of Queens)
Many of the above cast members’ names were leaked last week as deals were finalized with ABC.
There are some interesting choices this year. Notable to us is the inclusion of Bill Nye “the Science Guy,” Valerie Harper who’s terminally ill, and Elizabeth Berkley and Leah Remini creating a bit of a Saved by the Bell reunion.
Dancing with the Stars season 17 premieres Monday, September 16 at 8 p.m. eastern on ABC. Notably, the show is moving to just one episode a week in light of sinking ratings. The smaller weekly dosage should yield a much tighter format week to week. With elimination shows now gone, “each couple will be eliminated at the end of each episode by combining the judges’ scores of that night with the public votes from the previous week which will determine who gets eliminated every Monday night,” according to a statement from ABC.
