Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens joins the CW’s Tomorrow People in a potentially recurring role.

Dan Stevens, of Downton Abbey and The Fifth Estate fame, will join Greg Berlanti and Julie Plec’s new series The Tomorrow People as the voice of the biological computer TIM as revealed today by Entertainment Weekly.

Fans of the original British series will recall that TIM has artificial intelligence capabilities and often assists The Tomorrow People by giving them relevant information. TIM was voiced by Philip Gilbert in the 1970s series and was heard in all of the series’ episodes.

It is unknown if Stevens will follow Kristen Bell (Gossip Girl) or Bob Saget (How I Met Your Mother) in their voice-over work and stay with The Tomorrow People over the course of the series. Stevens is the latest star to join the Robbie Amell show with Jason Dohring also appearing in at least one episode.

Stevens will next be seen in A Walk Among the Tombstones in which he stars alongside Liam Neeson and in The Guest, which features Maika Monroe.

Are you excited to see Stevens involved in The Tomorrow People? Who else do you want to be involved? Are you excited for season 4 of Downton Abbey without Matthew Crawley?
