Downton Abbey meets Fifty Shades of Grey? This sounds like the tagline for a raunchy fanfic. It’s actually just an ensemble rom-com, but we’ll take it.

Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens and Fifty Shades of Grey‘s Dakota Johnson have joined the star-specked cast of the new romantic ensemble comedy titled How to Be Single.

Directed by Christian Ditter, How to be Single also counts Rebel Wilson, Leslie Mann, Lily Collins and Community‘s Alison Brie among its cast.

The movie is set up to be the next ensemble rom-com along the lines of Love Actually, Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve.

How to Be Single is based on a novel by Liz Tuccillo, with the original script written by Marc Silverstein. Dana Fox is working on the current draft, with Abby Kohn also contributing. Drew Barrymore serves as executive producer.

The Tuccillo novel follows the young, single New Yorker Julie Jenson, who travels the world to discover the secret to being single and happy. (One word, Julie: Netflix.)

While the movie might end up being very different from Tuccillo’s novel, we might assume the Eat, Pray, Love format of Julie visiting different exotic places and meeting spiritual guides along the way will remain.

We’re looking at a Valentine’s Day 2016 release date for How to Be Single, with filming set to start in New York this spring.
