WizardingWorld.com, the official online home of J.K. Rowling’s magical universe, has announced a new phase of their Harry Potter at Home initiative, in which well-known names from across the universe will be reading from the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

The first contributor is none other than Harry Potter actor Dan Radcliffe, who very rarely gets involved with anything pertaining to the Wizarding World these days.

You can watch his reading over at WizardingWorld.com.

While we don’t yet know everyone’s who’s participating, WizardingWorld.com did confirm that Stephen Fry (the UK audiobook narrator), David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Claudia Kim (Nagini in Fantastic Beasts), Noma Dumezweni (Hermione in the original Cursed Child stage play), and Eddie Redmayne (Newt) will also be reading chapters. A new chapter will be posted each week.

An audio version of the readings will be available via Spotify Podcasts.

The overall Harry Potter at Home initiative helps parents and kids enjoy J.K. Rowling’s seven-part series during this period of quarantining, but people of all ages will surely enjoy seeing big names in the Potter universe reading from the first book.
