The supernatural thriller Horns starring Dan Radcliffe premieres today at the Toronto International Film Festival, and in celebration three new photos have been released.

Unveiled by Entertainment Weekly, the three Horns photos offer fun glimpses into the forthcoming film in which Radcliffe’s character, Ig, wakes up one morning sporting a pair of horns.

In this first photo, we see Ig with his girlfriend played by Juno Temple:

In the second look, Ig is exiting a bar with a look of determination on his face.

And finally, Ig is at the doctor’s office getting his horns looked at. Possibly just as they started appearing in his head?

EW also shared a more detailed description of the movie which sheds light on new details surrounding the plot. They say that Ig is suspected of “brutally murdering his longtime girlfriend (Juno Temple). The town seems to have made up its mind about his guilt, especially when he begins to sprout devilish horns while the police investigate the crime,” they write. “Before long, though, Ig notices that his frightful horns seem to have one beneficial side-effect: people around him suddenly seem compelled to tell him the truth, the horrible truth that they’ve never told anyone else. Just maybe, those horns of his will help him find out who really committed the murder.”

Horns does not have a release date at this time, but we can expect something to be nailed down in the next couple months following its public unveiling tonight.

Radcliffe’s never afraid to head into new territory when it comes to the films he selects, and this seems to be yet another unique choice for the actor.
