Did you hear that, Warner Brothers? Harry Potter star Dan Radcliffe says he’d consider playing the Boy Wizard in the Cursed Child adaptation you definitely wanna do.

Radcliffe has been conducting a few interviews recently to promote his role in the revival of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, and while speaking to Good Morning Britain he addressed the possibility of coming back for another movie (via Snitch Seeker):

“Oh, I don’t know. I’m not sure. That’s a long way off, isn’t it? Harry’s a bit older. I really don’t know, I think that’s all highly theoretical talk. If it was to become more than theoretical I would, of course, think about it.”

“Think about” means reflect on whether or not it’d be right to be deeply associated with Harry Potter again, and see if WB will pay you vast sums of money (spoiler alert: they will).

As we discussed last month, bringing back Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint for a theoretical Cursed Child movie some years down the line (let’s say… after Fantastic Beasts 5 is out) is a no-brainer for WB, who’ll want to continue pumping out Wizarding World movies from now until the end of time. It’d be Harry Potter’s “Force Awakens” moment — bringing back the original stars and potentially ushering in a new series starring Albus, Scorpius, and Rose.

Do you think the original trio should come back for the inevitable ‘Cursed Child’ movie
