In a new cover story for Out Magazine, Harry Potter lead star Dan Radcliffe divulges some funny little facts on which of his wizard movies he can get through and which ones he can’t bare.

“I certainly wouldn’t watch number three, I wouldn’t watch the first two, I wouldn’t watch four,” said Dan. “I might watch five. I definitely wouldn’t watch six.”

While he sadly didn’t say if he’d watch seven and eight, we presume both of those are safe choices given that they are most recent and allowed him the most time to perfect his depiction of Harry.

In the interview, which was conducted with a publication which focuses on gay interests, Radcliffe was also asked about reception to his newest film Kill Your Darlings in which the actor plays a gay character. “You never see a gay actor getting asked what it’s like to play straight — to my knowledge, at least, there is no difference in how heterosexual and homosexual people fall in love.”

It’s a shame Out didn’t let Radcliffe elaborate on why he wouldn’t watch the first four Harry Potter films. We know he’s said in the past he doesn’t like the first two because of how young he is, but could the same reason hold for Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire? Or even Half-Blood Prince?
