Well, as the only still for tonight’s episode of The Originals illustrates oh-so-well, Dahlia arrives tonight. Her presence triggers some unlikely alliances to say the least.

We’ve been slowly marching toward the eventual arrival of Dahlia on The Originals season 2 and it seems the time has finally come. Her debut has been looming ever since we saw that first flashback to her and Esther making a deal that would change everything. Her presence may not be the most surprising part of the episode though.

In addition to meeting Dahlia for the first time in the present, we also get the return of Mikael to the fray. It seems that he and Klaus may be able to come up with some sort of understanding in regards to Dahlia. No one wants to see her get any sort of power, and if Mikael is willing to work alongside the child he has hunted for so long, she must be one tough cookie.

Check out the synopsis for the episode and a couple of sneak peeks that give us a pretty good idea of what this episode has in store for us.

Sneak Peeks

The first clip gives us a little glimpse at how Klaus is hoping to use Davina throughout this whole new threat. She doesn’t seem up to Klaus’ games though, and we, frankly, can’t blame her.

The second clip shows Elijah and Marcel trying to shore up the witch community’s support, but it doesn’t seem like they’re going to be much help without a few threats to get them fired up.

Would you help Klaus if you were Davina?
