Get ready to welcome a new crop of shows to The CW’s lineup next year!

The network recently revealed that they have given series orders to five new series in total — one of which will serve as a spinoff for a departing show.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The CW has officially given new series orders to the reboots for Charmed, Roswell, new series In the Dark, All American, as well as Legacies.

Legacies in particular should be of interest to fans of Vampire Diaries off-shoot, The Originals.

The new series is set to serve as a spinoff to the supernatural drama, and it’ll be set in good ol’ Mystic Falls. Legacies, which stars TVD alumn Matt Davis and Danielle Rose Russell, will center on a teenage-aged Hope who is gearing up to attend the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted.

Meanwhile, the network’s highly anticipated Roswell reboot officially has a title. The series, which is being helmed by Jane the Virgin’s Carina Adly MacKenzie and TVD’s Julie Plec, will now officially be titled Roswell, New Mexico.

Executive producer Greg Berlanti and writer April Blair are the pair bringing us All American.

Co-starring Taye Digs, the new series focuses on a high school football player from South Central LA who suddenly finds himself recruited to play for Beverly Hills High. The series, which is based on the life of pro-ball player Spencer Paysinger is being billed as “Friday Night Lights meets Straight Outta Compton.”

In the Dark is the last new series coming to the network next season. Helmed by Corinne Kingsbury (Fam) and executive produced by Ben Stiller, the new drama will center on a blind woman who winds up being the only witness to the death of her drug-dealing friend. After the police prove to be no help, she sets out to figure out who was responsible for the crime along with her trusty dog, Pretzel.

The good news of a new slate of shows doesn’t come without some bad news.

As we reported earlier today, one series the network chose to pass on was the highly anticipated Supernatural spinoff, Wayward Sisters.
