The CW’s The Legends of Tomorrow is gearing up to welcome actress Aliyah O’Brien for season 6.

According to TV Line, actress Aliyah O’Brien has joined the cast of The CW’s DC superhero series, The Legends of Tomorrow in a recurring role for the show’s sixth season.

When the superhero series returns for season 6, fans will meet O’Brien’s Kayla.

Kayla is described as being a “fearsome warrior with a high body count,” who finds herself “put through her paces working with and against the Legends.”

Given Kayla’s character description, it definitely sounds as though she’ll be both a friend and a foe to the Waverider crew.

When the hit series kicks off its newest season, fans will find their faves embarking on a journey through both time and space in an effort to save Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), better known to some as her superhero alter ego, White Canary. As those who tuned in for season 5 will recall, the last we saw of Sara Lance, she’d gotten herself abducted by a UFO in the season finale.

One thing’s for sure, it’ll certainly be interesting to see how Kayla sets about helping the crew of the Waverider on their quest, or ensuring they hit more than a few speed bumps and roadblocks along the way.

Aliyah O’Brien, whose previous credits include Bates Motel and Rookie Blue, joins Chicago P.D. bet Lisseth Chavez, who also joins the cast of season 6 as a series regular.

Fro her part, Chavez will take one the role of Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz. She’ll be a huge help to the crew on their quest to save Sara, given that she, herself was abducted by aliens when she was a child.
