The Arrowverse is gearing up for its massive Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover, and has released a brand new trailer to get us all aboard the hype train!

We’re less than a week out from the start of the biggest Arrowverse crossover, Crisis On Infinite Earths, and The CW is doing its very best to get us all excited about it.

Though these Arrowverse crossover events have become a staple amongst the DCCW shows, the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover is set to be the biggest and most ambitious one yet in the history of the DCCW.

It’s a crossover that was a year (and more) in the making, with Crisis first being teased during last year’s Elseworlds crossover. This season has done a great job setting it all up, and with both The Flash’s Barry Allen and Arrow’s Oliver Queen are predicted to die, you can bet the consequences of this one will reverberate around the Arrowverse.

Both The Flash and Arrow have laid down the ground work for the upcoming Crisis, with both Barry Allen and Oliver Queen being visited by The Monitor, a god-like being who has already begun to bring the heroes of the Arrowverse together.

Not only will Crisis On Infinite Earths combine all the DCCW shows for the first time — including Black Lightning, which has always operated in its own separate universe, it will also be bringing in a stellar cast of guest stars from across the multiverse.

The iconic Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman in Batman: The Animated Series and countless other great DC Animated Universe tales, will be taking on the role of Kingdom Come Batman, with Burt Ward likewise reprising his role as the original Robin.

Brandon Routh, who will be leaving Legends next season and played Superman in Superman Returns, will play the Big Blue Boy Scout, along with Smallville’s Tom Welling, with Erica Durance as Lois Lane returning as well. Ashley Scott — from the WB’s short-lived Birds of Prey show — will likewise join the fray as Huntress.

In addition to The Monitor visiting both Oliver Queen and Barry Allen, the most recent episodes of Batwoman and Supergirl have likewise teased Crisis on Infinite Earths. Both shows ended with the same scene showing Nash Wells of The Flash transform into Pariah. Supergirl also showed the return of Lex Luthor, who’s presumed dead by those on Earth-38.

The five-part Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover begins with Supergirl on December 8 and continues through Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow.
