Glee Warblers Curt Mega and Riker Lynch performed the song “The Scientist” in honor of Cory Monteith.

In one of the more touching displays of remembrance since news broke of the passing of Cory Monteith, Curt Mega and Riker Lynch, who have played Dalton Academy Warblers throughout the 4 seasons of Glee, performed an acoustic version of Coldplay’s song “The Scientist” in honor of the actor’s tragic and unexpected death.

Curt Mega, who had worked closely with the cast of Glee on several occasions tweeted out his condolences on the passing of Cory Monteith:

 

Matthew Morrison, who plays Will Schuester on Glee, paid tribute to Cory Monteith during his live show in New York City yesterday by performing in Cory’s honor in front of the crowd of ticket holders.

It’s too early to assume what direction the folks over at Glee may be heading with the unexpected passing of their lead male character. We’ve put together some thoughts right here for those of you who want to speculate.
