After six months of tapping away at an imaginary cube, one lucky teenager has destroyed the last cubelet and received his “life-changing” prize. Finally we find out what’s inside Curiosity‘s cube.

18 year old graphic designer Brian Henderson was sent a link to the prize when the final cubelet of the final layer was destroyed. The prize was explained to Henderson in a video from 22 Cans boss Peter Molyneux (Fable, Black & White), which you can view below.

That’s right, the Scottish teenager will become a god – well, the god of 22 Cans’ next project, Godus, which was Kickstarted late last year, following a nervy campaign.

Henderson will not only get to decide the rules of the game, he will also get a cut of the profits.

It appears that Henderson only downloaded Curiosity on the day he won the prize, and he had not heard of Godus prior to receiving the prize video.

22 Cans will providing further details to Henderson on how he will be able to influence Molyneux’s new god game in the near future.

Meanwhile, popular parody Twitter account, PeterMolydeux, got an eye-opening ‘interview’ with our new god.

Curiosity was the first of 22 Cans’ 22 experiments. The free mobile app was designed to be a social experiment as much as a game, with seemingly endless layers needing to be destroyed before one user got their hands on the prize. The game offered DLC with a real-world price of up to $75,000, to ascertain the limits of users’ determination to claim the unique prize.

What do you think of “what’s inside the cube?” What did you expect Curiosity‘s prize to be?
