The cover art has been released today for Rebels: City of Indra, the first young adult novel by sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
Yes readers, it’s true. Television personalities Kendall and Kylie Jenner (of Keeping Up With the Kardashians fame) are publishing a young adult novel with Simon & Schuster, titled Rebels: City of Indra. E! Online – the network which airs the aforementioned reality series for which the Jenner sisters are known – released the cover art for the sisters’ literary debut today.
Rebels: City of Indra will reportedly be a dystopian novel set 200 years in the future. The story will focus on Lex and Livia, two young girls with superpowers who find their lives in danger from multiple angles after setting off on a quest together.

According to E! Online, the Jenner sisters worked with co-writer Maya Sloane on the futuristic story, which may serve as the first in a series. Publisher Karen Hunter seems pleased with the results, promising that “The story that Kendall and Kylie crafted is a thrill ride — one that their fans and fans of this genre won’t be able to put down.”
Kendall and Kylie also seem enthusiastic about the project. “Kylie and I love the creative challenge and are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to share this story,” Kendall, who also works as a runway model, is quoted as saying. Kylie, the younger of the two, echoed, “We can’t wait to share these characters and the world we created with readers everywhere. We are so excited!”
Rebels: City of Indra by Kendall and Kylie Jenner will be released on June 3.
