Three Day Summer by Sarvenaz Tash takes us back in time to the summer of love and explores a time when the world was in upheaval but music still managed to make its mark.

Here’s what Sarvenaz has to say about the book:
Why write a story that takes place in 1969? My answer is pretty simple: it was the only way I knew of to time travel back to Woodstock (that is until I become the Doctor’s new companion and/or get my own TARDIS).

Even though the Woodstock Music Festival took place before my time, I’ve been enamored of it ever since I was a preteen. The music, the clothes, the atmosphere — everything about it seemed like the perfect culmination of a decade I wish I didn’t have to miss out on (once again, non-Time Lord problems).

So getting to research and write this book was probably the most fun I’ve ever had writing — and I hope that I can bring the joy of all that mud, music, and madness to readers, too!

Synopsis

Boy meets Girl…at the most amazing concert the world has ever seen.

It’s the summer of 1969, and Michael is a directionless 18-year-old music fan struggling with an uncertain future in a time of cultural and military upheaval. Cora is the obedient candy-striper daughter of an ultra-conservative father who likes her ex-boyfriend, Ned, so much he still shows up for Sunday dinners despite their break-up months earlier. When Michael and Cora meet at the medical tent at the Woodstock Music Festival, their lives will never quite be the same.
