Alexandra Sirowy, author of The Creeping, is sharing the cover and synopsis for her new novel, The Telling. Alexandra Sirowy writes supremely creepy novels about strong female characters and The Telling sounds fantastic.

Synopsis

Lana used to know what was real.

That was before when her life was small and quiet.
Her golden step-brother, Ben, was alive, she could only dream about bonfiring with the populars, their wooded island home was idyllic, she could tell the truth from lies, and Ben’s childhood stories were firmly in her imagination.

Then came after.

After has Lana boldly kissing her crush, jumping into the water from too high up, and living with nerve and mischief. But after also has horrors, deaths that only make sense in fairy tales, and terrors from a past Lana thought long forgotten: Love, blood, and murder.

The Telling doesn’t come out until August 8, 2016 but you can read Sirowy’s first novel, The Creeping, which just released. The Creeping is about a girl who suffered the tragic loss of a friend but can’t remember the events that happened. Just as Stella is finally moving past losing her childhood friend a body is washed on shore that has similarities to her. The Creeping is a thriller at heart as Stella begins to remember things from that day and discovers secrets long kept buried in her small town.
