Flower by Elizabeth Craft and Shea Olsen takes a pop-star heart-throb and introduces him to a straight laced overachiever. What could possible go wrong?

These are the things that seventeen-year-old Charlotte wants: to get the top grades in her class. To make her grandmother proud. And most of all, proof that she can succeed where the rest of her family hasn’t: a Stanford acceptance letter, early admission.

Her mother and sister were obsessed with boys, romance, sex. So obsessed that they lost sight of their futures, of what they wanted. And in the end, they lost everything. So she owes it to herself, and to her family, to never let a boy distract her.

But that was all before Tate. Before the biggest pop star on the planet took an interest in her. Before private planes and secret dates and lyrics meant for her alone. There’s so much she doesn’t know. Like why he left music. Where he goes when they’re not together. What dark past he’s hiding. But when they kiss, the future feels far away. And now…she’s not sure what she wants.

This cover is beautiful in its simplicity and I have to say the story sounds really interesting. Who doesn’t love a pop star falling for the studious girl? I have to say this novel feels like it may have more to it than meets the eye and I can’t wait to read it.

‘Flower’ is set to release on January 3, 2017
