The cover has been revealed for the Atlantis Rising sequel by T.A. Barron, Atlantis in Peril.
The sequel to Atlantis Rising by T.A. Barron will be titled Atlantis in Peril and explore the growing relationship between main characters Promi and Atlanta. It will also show us the beginning of a society on Atlantis that is doomed from the start.

The cover was revealed on Barron’s Facebook page, exclusively for his fans.
It shows some stormy seas in the forefront of the picture, which is in stark contrast to the peaceful green image used for the first novel. This one is a colder blue, interspersed with bolts of lightning. A ship is in dangerous waters in the background.
The synopsis for the second book in the Atlantis Rising saga reads:
“In Atlantis Rising, Promi and Atlanta saved their homeland by transforming it into the magical island of Atlantis. They had hoped that would keep it out of the clutches of the evil spirit warlord Narkazan. But Narkazan has returned, more determined than ever to conquer the spirit realm and Atlantis as well. Will the destiny of the mystical isle lie in the boat of Greek sailors who wash up on shore? The powers of the ethereal oceanglass? Or will the growing bond between Promi and Atlanta cause the strongest magic?”
If you have yet to read Atlantis Rising, we highly recommend the novel. Fans of Barron’s Lost Years of Merlin series will find something new in this story about the birth of Atlantis, but they’ll also find Barron’s richly detailed prose completely intact.
