Though we’re still ten months out from the arrival of the final (unless the Lionsgate CEO gets his way) Twilight film, a variety of puzzle pieces has at least one fansite wondering whether a trailer for Breaking Dawn – Part 2 could arrive with The Hunger Games.

There are many factors that could suggest this’ll happen. For one, Lionsgate and Summit recently merged. Two, The Hunger Games trailer debuted with Breaking Dawn – Part 1 in November. As for other reasons? Reports The Examiner:

Of course, March would be extremely early to see a trailer for Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Last year, the first teaser-trailer for Breaking Dawn – Part 1 debuted in June at the MTV Movie Awards, with a full-length trailer following in September.

However, filming for Breaking Dawn – Part 2 has been completed for much longer — with the two movies being filmed consecutively. There were even rumors that the first teaser would debut at the People’s Choice Awards earlier this month (which obviously proved to be false).

While Summit may want to hold out for a big venue like the MTV Movie Awards, the new partnership with Lionsgate offers a unique opportunity to market The Hunger Games movie to fans of the Twilight Saga who might not have discovered the series (and maybe convince some bitter Hunger Games fans to give the Twilight Saga a chance).
