Could Netflix be on the verge of cancelling Fuller House? Unfortunately for fans of the Full House revival it’s looking like it might be a possibility.

According to a report published by TV Line on Tuesday (October 16), Netflix could be gearing up to call it quits on Fuller House after the series’ upcoming fourth season.

The news may come as a bit of a shock to fans who’ve been following the revival— especially given how quick Netflix has been to renew the show in the past.

In fact, the online streaming platform informed viewers in January of this year that they’d decided to renew the series for season four. The news came just one month after Netflix premiered the second half of season 3 on December 22.

If the fate of Fuller House is truly up in the air, Netflix is keeping tight lipped about it.

In a statement released to the outlet, a spokesperson for Netflix said, “No decision has been made about the future of Fuller House; we’re looking forward to the premiere of season 4 later this year.”

Guess as with all of Netflix’s entities, we’ll have to wait and see what the final verdict is.

In the meantime, viewers who’ve been following the adventures of DJ, Stephanie, Kimmy, and the rest of the gang have a new crop of episodes to look forward to.

Given when were left off last season, we know fans can expect to see the series explore a new found bond between Stephanie and Kimmy— especially now that Kimmy has agreed to be Stepanie’s surrogate.

Additionally, we should be seeing a lot more of Danny, Joey, Uncle Jesse, and Aunt Becky now that everyone has decided the time is right to move back to the City by the Bay.

Fuller House season 4 is set to premiere on Netflix later this year.
