Keeping a strong and positive spirit, Lea Michele tweeted today that she’s back on the Glee season 5 set.

Interestingly, and perhaps most encouragingly, Michele wrote a message that didn’t even reference her boyfriend and co-star Monteith who tragically died on July 13 of heroin and alcohol abuse:

Judging by Michele’s tweet, it doesn’t look filming has commenced yet, but preparations are under way for cameras to begin rolling.

Glee season 5 will premiere Thursday, September 26 on Fox. The network decided to delay the premiere of the season one week following Monteith’s death so the cast and crew had extra time to mourn and prepare.

The first two episodes of Glee season 5 will focus on The Beatles, and episode 3 will be the Monteith/Finn tribute. Fox’s President said earlier this week that the episode will include the subject of drug abuse.

Beyond episode 3, showrunners will have to revisit their original plans to remove Finn from their longer term plans. At the end of season 4, Finn was determined to start a career as a teacher and saw McKinley as an opportunity.

In interviews conducted days after Monteith’s death, Glee creator Ryan Murphy said that the decision to continue with Glee was left up to Michele. Murphy says she wanted the show to continue, and she wanted to be a part of its future.
