The J.K. Rowling-related news just keeps coming in, doesn’t it? Cormoran Strike has just found its leading lady in Holliday Grainger.

Tuesday evening brought us news that Johnny Depp would be co-starring in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2, with some speculating he could be a young Grindelwald.

But before that news could sink in, we also got information on another project Rowling is working on — namely, the Cormoran Strike television series.

According to Variety, Holliday Grainger will be starring as Robin Ellacott, the private detective’s assistant and secretary. Grainger most recently starred in the BBC’s Lady Chatterley’s Lover as Lady Constance Chatterley.

Tom Burke will be playing the titular character, and the series will comprise of a total of seven episodes at the moment. The first three episodes will cover The Cuckoo’s Calling, while the other four will be split down the middle, with two each covering The Silkworm and Career of Evil.

Production on The Cormoran Strike Mysteries begins in November in London, with the series hopefully airing sometime in 2017.

While the U.K. will be watching on BBC One, Americans will have to tune into HBO to watch the show.

Meanwhile, Rowling is currently at work on Cormoran Strike Book 4. The latest novel in her detective series doesn’t have a release date, but we’re currently expecting it to be published sometime in 2017.

This is because of the author’s insanely busy schedule. Not only did Cursed Child release this year, but it was also announced that Fantastic Beasts would actually be a five-film franchise. And unless something changes, it’s expected that Rowling will be writing the screenplays for each movie going forward.

I recommend tea, protein, and plenty of rest moving forward, Jo. You’re going to need all the energy you can get!

Are you excited Holliday Grainger has joined ‘Cormoran Strike’?
