Still riding that Comic-Con high? Check out the extended trailer for Constantine that debuted at the convention this past weekend.

If the first trailer released by NBC back in May wasn’t enough to get you excited for the Hellblazer adaption, the latest footage that was first shown at San Diego Comic-Con has certainly stepped up its game.

This trailer offers up a more comprehensive look at what we might expect from the show’s first season when it premieres this fall. Matt Ryan continues to impress with his take on the titular character, and we can’t help but feel as though he’s got a handle on Constantine already — the casting is spot-on. We certainly laughed out loud at a few of his particularly sarcastic quips, and will be looking forward to seeing his devil-may-care attitude week in, week out.

Much like the first trailer they released, this one doesn’t skimp on the eerie imagery, and they definitely aren’t going to be shying away from the scary! We wouldn’t recommend watching it late at night and without the lights on, that’s for sure. Fans of the comic book series may also have noticed a few Easter eggs during the course of this new footage — keep an eye out for a very familiar looking helmet. Yes, we’re pretty sure that does belong to who you think it does.

We also got a few more great looks at some of the other characters that will be featured on the show — including the now departed Liv, portrayed by Lucy Griffiths. She’ll be replaced by Angélica Ceyala, who’ll be stepping into the role of Zed. Unlike Liv, who was created specifically for the show, Zed hails from the Hellblazer comics themselves. You can see more of what she had to say about her character in our interviews with the cast at SDCC.

Constantine will premiere Friday, October 24 at 10:00 ET on NBC.
