Yahoo! Screen announced this week that they’re resurrecting Community for one more season. So what show should they save next?

Hypable’s writers put their heads together to make a list of shows that Yahoo! should produce new seasons of. Pretty please?

1) Firefly: Yahoo! might have just gotten into this whole “saving TV shows” business, but to really succeed they need to try where others have failed: Bring back the cult classic Firefly! Since Yahoo! has a huge amount of resources at their disposal, we’d love to see the Joss Whedon show make a return since it was wrongfully cancelled in 2003. – Kyle Herzallah

2) Veronica Mars: With a successful movie (relative to its limited release), book series, and now a web series on the way, the series is ripe for a proper rescue. The fandom and actors for the show are all obviously apt to continue on with the franchise. All it would take is a Marshmallow at Yahoo! HQ to get us sleuthing once more. – Mitch Clow

3) Enlisted: If there’s one show that should/could be saved by Yahoo!, it has to be Enlisted. Fox did the show a major disservice by putting it on Friday nights from the beginning, and then doing a half-assed job promoting the sharp new comedy when it premiered in January. It was definitely given the Firefly treatment, as the episodes were even aired out of order, further confusing viewers into putting the show on the backburner. Enlisted’s three brothers bring heart to an adorable comedy about a part of the military that most people know nothing about. Those of us that did tune in fell in love with the Hill brothers and will be sitting here with our hands on our heads until another network saves our show. – Kristen Kranz

4) LOST: Reviving and renewing TV shows is all the rage right now so why not bring back one of the first binge-worthy TV shows ever made? The creators and showrunners probably wouldn’t be down with this given that the show had a final ending point (season 6) for the majority of the series. But, why not add one final season of LOST to find out what those are doing off the island, and more importantly, what Hurley and Ben are up to these days! We have to go back, Jack! – John Thrasher

5) Almost Human: Another great show that bit the dust this year over on Fox — are we sensing a theme here? — was the sci-fi and crime drama, Almost Human. Enjoying only one season, Almost Human was subjected to the same kind of Firefly treatment as many shows before it. Notably, it aired out of the intended order of showrunner J.H. Wyman, and poor marketing strategies were made. Those of us who did tune in were treated to the amazing partnership and chemistry between Detective John Kennex (Karl Urban) and his android partner (Michael Ealy,) and the often interesting and suspenseful cases they deal with in The City. The overarching plot was teased slowly between the episodes, and there are thousands of fans currently petitioning to see it play out. Yahoo! would be onto a winner if they decided to save this show, but until then… the fight goes on. – Donya Abramo

6) Happy Endings: Arguably, Happy Endings is the show that deserves revitalization the most out of all these listed. It was the comedy that should have gone on to become a smash hit for ABC, if they had just been more confident in it. Fans of the show can sympathize with Community fans when it comes to the constant scheduling shuffling and lack of faith from executives at their respective networks. There was a brief flicker of hope to revive the show when Netflix announced season 4 of Arrested Development, but nothing has come to fruition. Unfortunately for us, the cast, featuring six funny men and women, have all gone on to star (or will be starring) in shows this fall, so we don’t think we’ll get a new season anytime soon, but we’ll always have the 57 ah-mah-zing [that’s a thing from the show] episodes. – Kristina Lintz

Which show do you want Yahoo! to save most?

Or should we ask Alta Vista, Ask Jeeves, or Yahooligans to save one of these?
