Community season 6 debuts tomorrow (or tonight if you can stay up late enough) on Yahoo Screen. Here is everything you need to know to get prepared.

How do I watch ‘Community’ season 6?

Yahoo Screen! Never heard of it? That’s ok. Let Gillian Jacobs explain.

How to watch Community on Yahoo Screen. Premieres March 17th! (I should add that it is FREE)

Basically, Yahoo Screen is a streaming service that you can watch via your web browser at this link. You can also download the app for a cell phone or tablet and watch via the Yahoo Screen channel on Apple TV, Roku or Xbox.

Keep in mind that Yahoo Screen is only available to the U.S., Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. But don’t worry U.K. and Australia, season 6 will be coming to the Sony Channel in the U.K. and the streaming service Stan in Australia on March 18. Rest of the world? Just think happy thoughts for now!

What time, exactly, does ‘Community’ season 6 debut?

Much like Netflix’s strangely timed debuts, Community will be available to stream at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT.

So this is like Netflix then, right? All of the episodes will debut at the same time?

Nope! Only the first two episodes will premiere tonight at 3:01 a.m. ET. New episodes will be available each Tuesday for the next 11 weeks. There’s no word on whether those episodes will be available at 3:01 a.m. or not yet.

Only two episodes? What are they about?

Good question. Here is the official synopsis of each episode.

“Ladders” — “Dean Pelton hires an administrative consultant to organize things at Greendale.”

“Lawnmower Maintenance and Postnatal Care” — “Jeff and Frankie ask an inventor for help extracting Dean Pelton from his virtual reality world.”

Will this still feel like the old ‘Community’?

Despite the change to an online format, Dan Harmon has said this won’t be an anything-goes, raunchy internet version of the show. There will be episode act breaks and each episode should be around the traditional 20-25 minutes for the half-hour comedy. Harmon has described the season as “more grounded,” but basically just regular Community with a slightly larger budget. Yes, Yahoo Screen has opened up the coffers for their new signature show.

Troy, Shirley and Pierce are all gone, right? Who’s even on this show anymore?

The original Greendale study group seven is now down to four as Chevy Chase, Donald Glover and most recently Yvette Nicole Brown have all left the show. Last year’s nominal Pierce replacement, Jonathan Banks, will also not be back for season 5. That leaves Jeff Winger (Joel McHale), Britta Perry (Gillian Jacobs), Abed Nadir (Danny Pudi) and Annie Edison (Allison Brie) of the original cast with Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) and Chang (Ken Jeong) still floating around Greendale. This season will introduce Paget Brewster and Keith David as regulars. As for guest stars, here’s an abridged list: Martin Mull, Lesley Ann Warren, Brian Van Holt, Steven Guttenberg and Billy Zane.

Will it be good?

No one can say aside from the cast and crew of Community and the lucky few who have seen the first two episodes at SXSW, but… probably. Early reviews have been generally positive and say the show is just as self-referential as ever. With Dan Harmon, Chris MicKenna, Jim Rash and the Russo Brothers all involved in the first two episodes, season 6 should at least get off to a strong start.

Soooooo… movie?

“Yahoo seems down for just about anything,” Harmon told Variety. “I don’t know why they’d turn their nose up to a movie about a low-rated show. They seem to be very naive.”

#Sixseasonsandamovie may actually happen. Who would have guessed that just a few years ago!
