The book to film adaptation of Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda is currently filming, and recently author Becky Albertalli confirmed that actor Colton Haynes will have a role.
Colton, who is openly gay and known for his role as Roy Harper in Arrow, recently tweeted that he was on the set of the LGBT movie:

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda will star Nick Robinson as Simon and is directed by DCTV mastermind Greg Berlanti. No release date has been set.
