Remember a few weeks ago when American International Industries sued Lionsgate over a nail polish line they were to collaborate on? Though that lawsuit still appears to be active, over the weekend the film studio announced a partnership with a related company for the polish.

What’s more, we’re also learning that the cosmetic line will be called Colors From the Capitol (so maybe we’ll be seeing these colors on the nails of Capitol residents in the film?).

From Lionsgate’s press release:

Lionsgate announces that it has partnered with worldwide beauty brand China Glaze on a collection of nail polish to debut in conjunction with the March 23, 2012 release of THE HUNGER GAMES.

In keeping with the powerful themes and messages of the story, the collection of nail polish will be inspired exclusively by one of the book’s distinct settings- the Capitol of the nation of Panem. Awash in lavish fashion, food, and entertainment, Capitol citizens enjoy extreme cosmetics and body modifications, bold wigs, and outlandish costumes.

The collection of colors will be available at specialty beauty retailers beginning on March 1, 2012.

No previews of the line have been revealed yet, but the samples below – from American International Industries – may suggest what to expect:
