A poster for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 has debuted, and there are clouds, but no meatballs.
Back in January, 18 new pictures from the film debuted, although apart from that, this is the first look we’ve had at the film. Take a look at the poster below:
Featuring the vocal talents of the likes of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Andy Samberg, Neil Patrick Harris, Terry Crews and James Caan, the only new addition to the cast is comedian Kristen Schaal, who plays Barb, a “lipstick-wearing, highly evolved chimpanzee.”
The synopsis:
Flint Lockwood now works at The Live Corp Company for his idol Chester V. But he’s forced to leave his post when he learns that his most infamous machine is still operational and is churning out menacing food-animal hybrids.
According to an article in USA Today, in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 “There’s been an evolution happening. It’s created these living food creatures that have basically taken over Flint’s home, the island where he lives. That island is kind of like Jurassic Park.”
Whether there are meatballs or not, we’re interested, as the original was quite fun and inventive. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 hits theaters September 27, 2013.
