No, you’re not having 2004 deja vu. Ciara is back with a music video for her latest single, “Got Me Good.”
The R&B singer gifted fans with a new music video on her 27th birthday Thursday.
“My back is aching, my bra too tight/ My booty’s shaking from the left to the right/ My back is aching, I’m so in love/ Baby all I know is you got me,” Ciara sings as she bobs to the beat.
“It’s been too long baby too long/ It’s time to start a new game, game, a new game/ It’s been too long baby too long/ Let’s play before it’s too late, late, it’s too late,” goes the chorus.
Watch as she shows off her Michael Jackson-inspired moves in the middle of the desert, white “glove” and all.
Known for her breakout 2004 hit “1,2 Step” off debut album Goodies, Ciara has since released three more albums, collaborated with Justin Timberlake on “Love Sex Magic” and is now getting ready to release her fifth studio album, One Woman Army, early next year.
“Got Me Good,” available Nov. 6, is the second single off One Woman Army. “Sorry,” the album’s much mellower lead single is out now.
