Chris Pratt has been set to voice the lead character in Warner Bros.’ upcoming Lego: The Piece of Resistance, while Will Arnett set to voice Batman. Channing Tatum, meanwhile, is being courted to voice Superman in the film, directed by 21 Jump Street helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Variety’s Jeff Sneider reports:

Pratt (Parks and Recreation) will play Emmet, an ordinary, law-abiding, rules-following, perfectly average Lego mini-figure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary MasterBuilder. He’s drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant from gluing the universe together, a journey for which he is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

Will Arnett (Arrested Development) is already set to voice Batman in the film, which is being described as “a hybrid of live-action and Lego-based animation.” Tatum, meanwhile, is not yet able to commit to the project given his extremely busy schedule.
